Are Friends Electric?

The Merchant of Venice was one of my favourite Shakespeare performances I have seen yet! It was done really well and they pulled off the comedy just perfectly. I have to say, however, that the amount of shirt tearing off, and transexuality had not been expected - the audience reactions were the BEST thing since chilli sauce. The ripple of pure 'WTF' in that scene was genius. Though I feel most aggrieved for Portia, having to put up with a rather horrifically cut dress. But never the less, jolly good show! It was also enjoyed doubly as much with the snuck-up pineapple juice (and cups - we are civilised, you know!). That just topped the night off all together.

In other news, all is set for the great Wicksteed shing-dig and camp-out fandango! As it turns out I shall have a fairly jam-packed weekend, with Sian's party, Wicksteed and Camping! Good thing I have a whole week to recuperate (and finish off Zelda ) directly afterwards with what shall hopefully be minimal studying. All being good, there shall be about 7 of us Wicksteeding on Sunday, and many more celebrating partying the night before. Woot!

For those who don't know: George and Rob are Vicky's friends whom I have only ever met via video and photograph. xD

I had a dream (which I didn't realise was a dream at the time) that Rob and I appeared in a bath somewhere (not IN, IN the bath, just standing in it, fully clothed behind the curtain wondering where the fuck we were) then we tried to climb out of said bath but a 9-year oldish girl was on the loo, so she ran out screaming. So we looked at each other most bewildered and went out onto the landing. Then Rob was all like "Wait a minute, this is George's house!" and I was like "Let's raid his bedroom!". So we hunted for his bedroom. (Why he knew it was The Chapple Man's landing but didn't know where his room was, I don't know.)

Anyway, the first room we went into was all pastel coloured and full of teddies and the like. We decided that wasn't the right one and went into the next, which was ensuite and had a double bed and rather bland colouring. We only decided it wasn't when someone opened the door of the ensuite loo and we scarpered.I fell over a black and grey sock in the process and the woman who'd come out of the loo - with a towel round her head shouted at me in a very ghetto voice "What yo doin' trippin' on mah sock?! Yo' aint ma maaaayun!" hahahahahaha To which I laughed and fell into the door of another room. I think she'd decided that we must have crashed at their house or something and didn't ask why we were there.

Anyway, in this room, there was a mattress on the floor for a bed, with a LARGE scaelextric (wtf SP?!) set going over the top of it like a bridge, a little corner with a kettle and kitchen stuff in it, a fireplace, something that resembled a washing machine, and an ensuite loo (which I soon found out and exclaimed with awe had a piano next to it. Not even so you could play it on the loo - just next to it. xD) We were wondering where George was but then - after I came out of the toilet after checking in the piano for him, Rob opened the washing machine...
And it was odd, it came out like a drawer and the drum turned as it opened and revealed a built in ice-cream tub! So we decided to eat ice cream until George turned up - but he never did. Then I woke up.
PS. Does anyone know where I can get a better, Booshy mood theme? This one hasn't got a very good cap choice. :c
