FOUR MONTHS PEOPLE!

I just about had a heart attack a couple of minutes ago when I looked at my profile and my little ticker factory thing said "Four Months till our wedding." OMG! That's so soon!!! And I'm still not in shape or tanned! And we STILL DON'T HAVE A SIGNED LEAVE PASS FOR JONATHON

He's actually not that bad... comes off really cocky but if you go to him for help and stuff, he's pretty understanding and I found him helpful. If his class is the same as mine, his midterm is really vague... like ewww vague! I think one of the questions on his midterm was something like what were the economical effects of the rise of facism or authoritarian regims (or something like that) and another one (that I picked anyway) was a question on early Nationalism and its role...
He hates it when people right "can't" instead of "cannot" or "didn't" instead of "did not"... (he will circle them in your midterm and stuff)
He really emphasizes a STRONG introduction... and will point out when it is too vague or too weak.
His paper's fairly easy... 6-8 pgs I think. He let us pick the topics as long as they were after 1945... I did it on the Velvet Revolution in Czech... he's good about ideas too if you don't have any, so if you ask him, he'll ask you what you like to write about or which European country interests you and give you a suggestion.
His final was a take-home and just like the paper, real easy.. a 6 pger about "How did the Cold War affect political autonomy and popular sentiment in Europe during the second half of the 20th century." (we didn't even need to cite sources!)

I got a C on his midterm (cause I found it sucked! sooo vague.. totally was unprepared for it.. I found I studied the wrong things)
I got a C on his paper (cause I handed it late)
and got a C as a final grade (so I'm assuming I did around a C on the final lol)... his grading is... pretty fair I guess.. my heart just wasn't into it.

If you want, I give you class notes! I just hope it's similar to my class and that this helped you a bit :D

HIS2152 is also the only grade I have left... I e-mailed Prof. Green on Thursday or Wednesday asking him if I could have the grade on my first assignment and my final and he wouldn't give it to me just yet because "the grades were being deposited on Friday" but that he'd be "happy to give them to me following that".. so I'm assuming we're going to get our grades soon!!! but he hasn't replied again since with the grades... so I don't want to have to e-mail him again and be annoooyyyiiinngg but sheesh! I want to know here!
