My goodness a lot of people are writing!
I guess it's my turn to join in the updating frenzy!
For those of you who are wondering, I'm all better...no cough, cold, sickness, etc. Last week, I went over to Donald, Maria, and Ego's apartment and we played Scrabble (it was my first time), and I liked it so much that I went out and bought my own! So I've been playing that a lot at night with Robbie. But you know what? Scrabble is MUCH more fun with 4 people, because then you don't get overly competitive. I mean, 2 trumpet players against each other? That's a lot of competition...it's practically in our nature! Anyway, it's a fun game.
Brass Bash is this weekend! Come to Jordan Hall on Sunday at 7:00 PM for some loud brassy action. Bring your earplugs.
Magic Flute is next weekend! Sunday, March 11th, 8:00 PM in Brown Hall. It'll be a good show. I'm really excited to be performing the role of First Lady. I need to get a costume though...*sigh* $$$$
I sent my resume for the United States Army Band Pershing's Own, and the Harrisburg Symphony. Wouldn't that be cool if I got a job straight out of NEC? A trumpet job, that is. I know I could get any old job, but one in MUSIC??? That'd be cool.
