omg...what a night! actually, what a day!
so today we had out quarterly staff meeting. i was very excited because everyone in the company would be there, including the guy i am completely infatuated with. so i get to work and we have more to do than i anticipated and we couldnt leave the main building to go to Mt. Hawley Country Club (where the meeting was) until we finished all our work. So we got everything done as fast as we could but we still got to the meeting about 40 mins late. Turns out that was perfectly fine. We missed all the boring crap and got there just in time for the "party" portion of the meeting, which included free open bar! so needless to say, i was wasted by 4. pathetic, maybe, but i had to take advantage!! well, michelle decided to let everyone i work with know about my crush on this guy named jason that i have never even talked to and somehow she found out that he is single and was convincing someone he works with to talk to him for me. i almost died i was so embarrassed and luckily jason left before i got drunk or i probably would have talked to him and made a fool out of myself. i also got hit on (i think) by a couple of my co-workers..frat boys and alcohol...what a combo..
so on to tonight. i went to martini's for the first time. it was really nice and let me tell you...mochatinis are the shit! too bad they are six bucks a pop! so mary runs into this guy she went to high school with and he and his friend were hitting on us. it was not cool at all...so we left there and headed to sully's. it was a decent time but nothing to write home about. oh yeah..bill and matt- we ran into rob- i guess its his 21st and he was so wasted- it was hilarious. the fun came when we left at around 3:30. we saw rob outside peeing on the ICC sign which was pretty funny. and mary didnt park in the deck like usual but on the street so as we are walking this guy approaches us and tells us that is car is down a couple blocks out of gas and that he needs five bucks to put a deposit on a gas can at the gas station and he only has two dollars. well mary smartly says she has no money, but me, with gullible written all over my forehead, whip out a five and give it to him to just get him off my back and help him out. well, no sooner did he take the five when a cop car whips up on the sidewalk and a cop jumps out and handcuffs the guy and tells him he is under arrest for theft by deception. apparently, the cops know the guy by name (Gary) and he always pulls the same scam to get money. well two other cops come in a different car, one by the name of officer Gray (soooooo hot) and they joke around, giving us a hard time for supporting Gary's habit. he told me i should go to the nearest AA meeting and start handing out shots! it was hilarious. so Gary got arrested and mary and i stuck around and joked with the cops. it was so surreal and hilarious. luckily the cop was there. i mean, i didnt really care if i got ripped off but the cops said that he normally will rob you of anything you have if you offer to help him out. funny thing is, i ended up making a couple bucks off the deal cuz the cop gave me back my five and the two dollars the guy already had to begin with.
