my internet has been out for 2 week. apparently some lightning fried my ethernet port. some genius at apple thought it would be a good idea to attach ethernet ports directly onto logic boards (mother board for pc's) so they tell me i have to buy a brand new logic board now. 500 dollars. right now, i FUCKING HATE apple. in other news, my mom is ( Read more... )

that happened to me. i went to best buy and bought a new ethernet card and had the school install it for free. you probably have another place to install a new card, but maybe macs are different. go ask someone at best buy. it only cost me $15.

yea macs are different, the "geniuses" attached the ethernet card permanently to the mother board. its impossible to buy jsut a new card, i have to buy a whole new logic board. which is obviously why im so pissed, cause i know its such a fucking cheap part, and i know thats how PCs are built. and i tried to see if i could get it done at a diff place for cheaper, but apple would charge them $750 bucks jsut for the part, then id have to pay labor to. they really have this one figured out to screw me.

I wonder if thats why my internet doesn't work? I didn't try to figure it out, instead I started kicking it until it completely stopped working....I know thats not the best way to go about getting things done, but that is how I live in my world and I'm slowly adjusting to changing ideas.... yesterday my dad asked me what my major was..Hahahaha!....then when I told him he just got really quiet and walked out of the room. When are you coming back baby?
