back in the Cuse

Ok its official. I am back in the US and my year at Hebrew U has been completed. The last couple days in Israel were a whirlwind of activity, full of finals and packing and saying goodbyes. When the Sheirut came to pick me up I had a veritable parade of people sending me off. In a way I’m glad I got to be one of the first to go, so that I could say all of my goodbyes at once. I feel incredibly lucky to have made so many amazing friends over the course of the year; its weird to think back to the start of summer ulpan and remember how nervous I was because I didn’t know anyone. My travels back to Syracuse were thankfully uneventful. Marc came to hang out with me during my layover in JFK which was much fun.

I’m in Syracuse for another day, then go to North Carolina for William’s graduation, then up to NYC. Fun times.

Huge thanks to everyone who made my year so utterly fantastic. I love you all and can’t wait until we start having reunions.
