it's now day number 12 of wearing the same jeans. yes, i've spilled various beverages on them. yes, i've tracked through the mud of main street in them. yes, ive put them on soaking wet...apparently it was raining saturday night? and i havent broke down to wash them yet. i think i'll see how long i can go.
so i really really like cmu so far. it's been a good time. i live across the hall from nick neumann and mike parry...and they pretty much have the same nightly goals that i do. so it's been fun. "take one for the team!"
my classes seem like they will be interesting. the spn102 teacher talks the entire class in spanish and i can actually understand it. so props to grew for that one? but he likes to slip in tequilla and cerveza references in his lectures. so that's always entertaining. jrn380 and the work that will come with it is a bit much...but then i got an email about an alternative assignment letting 10 students write articles for some newspaper ...and this would replace all the papers, quizzes, homework, and group projects. so i'm all about trying to do that. phl118 will be interesting even thought the prof is a spazz. but he canceled class on thursday so that's nice. jrn101 lasted 10 minutes today, so i dont even know what that will be like.
i like the set-up of the ol' dorm. i mean, with our classy plaid couch and festive christmas lights, what else would anyone want? once i get a camera up here...i'm postin pictures.
i took a 2 hour nap today. it was, in the words of miss audrey l. dowell, delicious.
i went to nando's townhouse sunday night. he's living in luxury over there...gourmet cooking, crystal light, the works. i also learned he has an obsession with usher. a sexual obsession.
i really miss audrey and jen c and jen t...basically i miss vajjark. VISIT!
and that goes to everyone else. VISIT MEEEEE! plenty of room here.
