playing chess.... uncertain of next move

the feel of the place in parks is nearly unbearable for me.  the idea of staying much longer is certainly awful.  the idea of leaving is refreshing.

a prayer that a better job/place to live comes upon us very very soon.

i am disappointed in don, the manager, for his negligence to this place and to us here.  he said he would get a tractor up to clean out the pens right away, he said he would get the old little trailer taken out of here.  the place is a junkyard and we have little support to make it any better.  each day here i wake up wishing i was somewhere else and that just will not do.

The owners of the Sands Ranch will hopefully be calling us soon to offer Joel a position as the manager there.  While the prospect of living in southern arizona is not entirely ideal to me, the prospect of moving somewhere else and running the gig.  with a horse program and a very large ranch is extremely compelling, especially considering how miserable this Timber Springs allotment is.
Even Sandstone on the RO's looks better then this does right now, and that is not where we want to be headed.  *Sigh*

If the Maughan Ranch would have put any effort into making our lives more livable here that would have made a big difference.  Don's response to Joels concerns was abominable and the disrespect and disregard for us as employees since we have come up for this seasonal deal has left a bad taste in our mouth.  It is unfortunate as we had put a ton of work into the house and allotment in Kirkland and were very happy there.  It is very unfortunate that they are so apt to lose good employees due to near-total disregard of us in Parks.

New Long-term job/home ..... come on to us!  We are ready! !!
