(no subject)
Summer is here! My first year of teaching is over- crazy.
And... I really want to get together with friends. Friends that I haven't seen in a while. I told myself that I wasn't going to let my Albion friends slip away from me like my high school friends did, but I find that happening to a certain degree. It actually really makes me sad- I mean, I haven't kept in touch with a lot of people, but not a lot of people keep in touch with me either, so I guess its fair. But- I do want that to change. So- hopefully I will be able to take some days to go a-visiting.
I also want to go to Cedar Point but may not be able to go until about the first week of August. I really want to plan a group trip and have a reunion of sorts... last time I went to Cedar Point I was with Anna, Dave Friday, Ashley, and Corey and I can't remember who else, but it was a really fun time.
I am also doing Oliver down in Elkhart. I'm in the adult ensemble, but I think it will be a nice change to be on stage instead of directing or playing the piano. The show is the third weekend in July. And I'm going to the island with the girl scouts, and I'm kind of thinking that this is the year to hang up the green polyester. I think that 10 years has been long enough to be involved in this troop and I'm ready to move on.
Oooh and I bought a new tv. It was the most money that I've ever spent at once. But I'm pretty excited about it! Its a 32 inch Samsung LCD- supposedly the top of the line for its size and type. yay! yet another thing that makes me feel more like an adult.
