Home again
Well, I'm home in Missouri again, my mom and I made it home after driving for ummm yea, 6 and a half hours!!! I kid you not! Anyways, the reason we went back to Orland was for my talk at Sandburg. That went really really well. I had so much fun with it and the group was really good. It was small, a group of ten which was good becasue thats all the little booky things Iowa gave me to hand out, and then i barely had to use any filler things to talk about Iowa because they all had really good questions, my mom and i talked about that practically the whole ride home, well not all 6 hours, but yea...a good majority. ANyways, it was a terrible morning before that though because i was supposed to use my grams car but apparently my aunt had the same idea and took it before i could get there so there was drama in the morning...no fun, so Amanda just met me at school instead of me picking her up. But i have the worst cramps, and OMG the water that this state can hold...driving home there were freaking lakes everywhere!!! IT was scary the amount of water that was on the ground. Back to Iowa talk...it was good...it was the whole period nad i thought iwas only talking for like mmm 20 minutes so i was kinda scared when i found out about taht, but it turned out alright. Sooo then we went and saw Kwilose..i love that guy! and chatted with him, then, going to see Geiger (HA!) we stopped in Matiya's room and chatted with him which was fun, and then we went and saw woolley. Then later on i saw geiger, who actualy held a normal conversation with me and not a dumb one...and he hugged me..which i wasn't expecting, but yea, whatev. Then my mom came and got me and it was time to make our trek home.
Aaron was going to come home with me, but he didn't...things got kinda messed up in that...oh well, we got a date for my spring break lined up..hehe.
I'm watching Conan right now, and they're talking about kissing...its kinda funny. Apparenlty theres a different kinda of kiss for every mood..i can kid of see that. But they're saying that a girl should look at a guys lips to tell if hes a good kisser...i dunno about that.
I need to start packing to go to school...but i have, in my planner, the amount of weeks until i leave for Africa...so its at 19 now!!! LOL...We're going to Paris, i can't wait, i'm so excited!
OH--i'm talkin to Emily on line now and i watched the OC today, I LOVE THAT SHOW!!! Some might not like it, but i'm' addicted, and i don't know why! but i'm okay with that!
So the facebook, the thing that everyone in college is like addicted to, just added Augie, Easter and Western!!! I'm excited, and some other schools i can't remember but i'm excited, cuz now my sister can get on and the boys at western!!! Beth made me a friend so thats how i know their schools were added. ok, i think this is long enough and i'm getting tired, waking up randomly at 6am this morning can be quite a doosy. Time for bed.
