Haven't put it on record...so here goes...in short:
Wrote & sent letter day we left for Antigua [12-20]
Sailed for a week around Antigua in a 50-60ft catamaran
----visiting the small islands
----snorkeling every day
----captain took us on our first scuba
----captain & first mate were great
----found an island full of ecological succession & volcanically preserved fossils!!! woot!!
----spent Christmas on the boat
----great weather - 80s
----EDIT: GREAT FOOD
--------EDIT con'td: and drinks, we had cocktail hour every day before dinner :-)
----got sick when we took our first tack on the atlantic side
--------this is totally because there were 12-15foot swells!!! holy crap!
--------first time I've ever gotten sick on a boat, at least I had a good reason!!
--------even the first mate got quite queasy
--------vacation wasn't a real vacation for me
--------I like to relax and do nothing for some time, since I do so much when I'm working
--------I spent most of Christmas hiding in the cabin because i felt like I was going to have a bit of panic
--------very proud of me!! I read 450 pages of a 500 page book during the week...
------------still haven't finished the last 50 pages...wow
------------got along well with everyone...but had a really annoying guy who wouldn't stop talking about himself on there, too - nice...but still...annoying.
----spent tooooo many hours waiting for our late flight back to GA
--------luckily, it was a direct flight!
Got home Sunday [12/28]
Spent most of the next week relaxing and doing next to nothing to "recover" from "vacation"
Had a few friends over for New Year's
Edit: Had my perm touched up
Spent the next few days still relaxing
Edit cont'd: Watched all of the Star Wars movies [new years tradition to watch some...]
Edit cont'd: Helped judge troupe auditions
Edit cont'd: Decided I didn't have any resolutions [typically I don't make them] but
----Edit cont'd: I'm going to try really hard to read my chronological one-year bible all the way through this year.
----Edit cont'd: I got it a few years ago and have read parts of it, but haven't decided to go through - 'til now!
I'm excited that it's second semester...because, unlike 1st semester, where we had NO BREAK until Thanksgiving [AUG, SEPT, OCT, NOV w/o a break!!!!!!!]...second semester has MLK day [next Mon], President's day [roughly a month later], and then spring break [roughly 1-1.5 months later], then we have 2 weeks of review before the end of course [state] tests, then 2 weeks until the end of school in which we do whatever we want so long as it's academic. Special project time!!!
