Recent-ness
Last night's dance class went much better than last week's...though [hopefully], that'd really be expected, since last week was the first night of class over there and it was sort of hectic, especially since the people from the Cherokee [Lifestyles/Living] magazine came out last week to shoot some pictures and the like...AND add to that the fact that there were quite a number of people crammed in the studio that decided not to continue there.
This week was much more fun.

Also...free download of a few Christmas songs from this unsigned band I found today...not sure if anyone would like them, but if they make any money from sales on their site [but you can download 2 songs for free that they have on their main page], they're donating money to the Music Industry/HIV/AIDS charity LIFEbeat. GreenerMusic.com. Very different from traditional Christmas songs.

As you all well know by now, I'm fairly addicted to watching CSI Vegas and Miami [though much moreso the Vegas season on Thursdays than the Miami one on Mondays...]...but last night something crappy happened!
Hans and I were sitting on the couch in the basement - which we just put into another room...explanation to come - trying to watch Miami...but since we got rid of the DirectTv a bit ago [to see how we'd live w/o it - we're doing just fine...more movies though...]...so the stations don't come in well sometimes.
So..we decided to move up into the bedroom to get better reception. We move there, I blink, and *POOF* CSI is over! All of a sudden, I'm watching the "Next time on CSI" deal at the very end. *sigh*
I have no clue what happened.
I know you're all just dying to hear about why we had to rearrange the furniture in our basement. :P No? Oh well.
Well, the reason of it is this - we got a pool table! :-)
Happiness. We decided to move the tv, speakers and all of that into the small finished room to the side of the basement, move the bed that was in that room into the main room of the basement, and move the smaller bed which was in the outer room into the closet of the inner room. The small bed [my old one] is a full, and the closet in the room there is quite large. It fits well with some room at the foot of the bed. :-) I like it there. Hide-a-bed.
The pool table was a great price, AND it came with all sorts of fun things - cues, [good] balls, a rack [stain matches the table], etc...AND A FOOSBALL TABLE!! Go Brunswick. They were having some sort of special sale at the same time as Hans' client's store was having their annual sale - so we got a spectacular price on the deal. The foosball table came free from Brunswick when we bought the table. [and yes, we checked, it was a great price - much lower than the table usually sells for there and elsewhere, and we got all sorts of free stuff!! hooray].
So now, if you've ever been to our house and seen the basement - it looks much different.
Oh, and it looks like my family is coming down for three days instead of the 2 which they originally thought. *sarcastic-yea..* W/e, we offered, it's fine. Just hoping it goes well.
