Life recently.

My life recently:
1) I had my first bridesmaid dress fitting yesterday...the dress is very pretty, but I forgot to bring the camera so I could get a picture for Emily [the bride]. Emily's marrying my brother-in-law, Jeremy, who is the oldest of the 5 boys [Hans is second oldest]. A bit of background on Emily:
-she's also their 2nd cousin...and she and Jeremy made-out at a family reunion before checking to see how closely they were related. L.O.L.
-she's JUST like me, except a little more girly. We talk the same, and think the same...it's fun. We really get along well. She came with me when I was trying on wedding dresses a few years back, and my parents, when they met her, laughed at how much she sounded like me.
-she's also bipolar

2) I had to get shoes and a corset-bra for my dress on Saturday [fitting was Monday], so Hans and I went shopping...I hate shopping...except we had a little fun because we went shopping for actual corsets, as well...which was altogether too much fun. I've always wanted one, never got one...still don't have one, but that might change soon. Don't ask me why, but I think they look gorgeous, and they feel incredible.

3) My arthritis has been crazy acting up lately - this past weekend it stormed a few days and it was hard for me to make a fist with my hands...argh...and my hands, wrists, knees, toes, etc., were sore. It's ridiculous - I'm 22 [23 in sept], and I have arthritis...

4) Brooke and Joel came over after visiting a church with us on Sunday. That was great fun. We had spaghetti & salad, talked for a while, then played Scatergories while having some wine. They're really nice people. In case you don't recall, when Hans and I visited a church a few weeks ago, Brooke's parents invited us over for lunch to fellowship and to meet B&J. Good times.

5) I got some new bellydance DVDs [well, vcds, but still] that were really super-cheap on Ebay compared to what they normally cost - but they're Chinese. :-P The language is in English [not dubbed], but all of the menus are in Chinese and there are subtitles througout the videos. Oh well. They're good, I used one yesterday. :-)

6) My friend aiylyn, who was supposed to come down to visit [well, he's coming for a concert, I'd be a side-stop!] in September now might or might not be coming. If he does come, he'll more than likely be staying with Hans and me - eating our food, playing with our cats, and watching movies :-D - which could be super-fun - because his hotel isn't going to be there anymore...they're demolishing it. So we'll see what happens.

7) Oh, yes. And another friend of mine, gdened is coming down in a few weeks. :-)

I think that's all.
God has been really good to me lately, and aside from chest pains and my first bad panic attack in a few months, I've been doing really well, and life has been going fairly smoothly [for the most part...]. There are always a few hiccups, but I've been fairly stable, and that's a huge praise. I haven't, though, slept a good night in quite a while - 4 hours or less for the last quite a while, except when I tranq myself... but that's life.

You're all in my prayers, & feel free to keep me in yours. :-D
The End.
