argh...concert, or point of need?!?!
I'm so frustrated. Now, I'm not really one to go to concerts or anything - it's too much work, there are too many people sometimes, too much money, etc...
But one of my favorite singers is doing a summer concert in the park in the middle of my town. IN THE MIDDLE OF MY FREAKIN' PARK!!! And I just found this out on my way home this afternoon. It's tomorrow night. How much does that suck?
I have PoN tomorrow night. I know what you're thinking - "have someone cover you!" I totally would except for the fact that I'm going out of town and so I won't be at group to mod for the next 2 weeks (the 9th and the 16th) because we'll be driving to or in Michigan.

A free concert in the park with a singer I reaaaly enjoy...or...modding group?
The concert starts at 7:30, groups start at 8:00 and to go 9:00, and I'm fairly sure that the concert will be fading out by the time I could possibly get there, which is 9:30. Maybe it'll go to 10, but normally, with these summer concerts, people are in the middle of getting to their cars by the time Hans and I come by...*sigh*...though we DO drive by a bit later than 9:30 most of the time...so maybe, just MAYBE if I haul butt out of there RIGHT at nine, I can try to find a place to park for a while to listen.
