This really is like high school only now you can mass email everyone....
I knew there was a reason that I wasn't spending crazy amounts of time with my fellow law school students. It's like the people here are so tired of reading and so many of them only know other law school students here that they all feed on drama. Don't get me wrong. I am a girl and appreciate a good story as much as the next person but this is just ridiculous. These people need hobbies.
Did you hear that one of our professors is sleeping with the dean?
Did you hear about that girl that has already hooked up with three guys in our class?
Geez.
The best one so far happened today. The law school is dumb enough to have a list serve of everyone's email addresses that anyone can use. We get mass emails all the time for random crap even though we've been told not to abuse the list serve. Soccer team? Football tickets? Anyone seen my cell phone? It's pretty annoying. Well, another 1L sent out a sarcastic email asking for the random mass emails to stop. There has been a flood of emails sent out some backing him and some telling him to shut up. There have been at least 20 responses about this stupid mass email madness. It's all everyone is talking about in class. Oh, and guess who else is included in the list serve? All of the faculty and administrators are receiving these things too. Some of these people are idiots. Although it is giving me something to read in class so maybe I should thank the guy.
This weekend was great. Homecoming was so much fun and it was fun to see everyone. I plan on studying a lot over Fall Break but I'm still planning on going to Six Flags. It should be fun.
