It's a Saturday night and I am playing on my computer. How sad is that? I have been a busy girl today. My mom woke up and apparently decided that today was the day that we were going to paint the living room and foyer. So that is what we did all day. She went and bought paint while we moved all of our furniture and books out of the foyer and the living room. We have a LOT of books. My brother had a moment of insanity and thought that it would be funny to paint the side of my face. I have green paint in my hair still. Thankfully, it is latex paint so it will just peel off when I brush it out. I look pretty bizarre though. It's a really pale green so I look like I have gray hair on one side of my head.
I just discovered that there is a 4th book of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series. I want to read it really badly! I just added that iRead application on facebook and I love it. I encourage everyone to join so that you can post which books that you own so that I can borrow them from you. Alisha, they even have a bunch of children's books listed.
My friend Allie is doing much better. She has been under a medically induced coma for about 2 weeks now and we were really worried (my mom made me try on my funeral dress to make sure that it still fit just in case). Her organs had been shutting down because the chemo, but her body is stabilizing finally and her doctors can now think about giving her a bone marrow transplant (they found a match!). A lot of details but she's just been on my mind a lot lately because her 21st birthday is Wednesday. Anyway, I'm just glad that she's doing better.
I miss everyone and I'm praying for everyone (no one else is allowed to have anything traumatic happen because my prayers are getting really long).
