It's been a while

I feel bad that I haven't really updated in a while but I just don't ever feel that I'm doing something newsworthy. I hang out with friends but that's usually it. I went out to eat with a few friends last night and Lindsey's sister came too (because I guess all of her friends were busy or maybe she was just bored). Anyway, Lindsey's sister is 26, never graduated from college and lived with her parents until about two weeks ago. Oh, and her hair is now bright magenta pink. No one warned me and I nearly choked on my water when she sat down at the table. I don't usually like attention to be on me or the group that I'm with, but I felt like the entire restaurant was staring at us for the rest of the night. We were that loud, obnoxious group of teenagers. I was so embarrassed. Lindsey's sister and our friend Mike, who is naturally loud anyway, proceed to share stories of their undergrad days really loudly and nearly every story revolved around drugs or sex. There were families sitting near us and the parents would glare at us from time to time. I wanted to crawl under the table. Thankfully the night got much better. We went to see this 80s cover band called The Molly Ringwalds and they were amazing. We had to pay $10 to get in but it was totally worth it. They are all British, and each band member dressed like a different 80s character. One of them was dressed like PeeWee Herman. It was so crowded and it took forever to get drinks, but it was so much fun. The band passed out bottles of SoCo for people to take shots of but it was so not as bad as I remember SoCo tasting (I defer to you Meredith). The guy next to me sort of missed his mouth when he was taking his shot and I got SoCo in my hair and in my eye. By the way, alcohol burns when it gets in your eyes so I don't recommend it. I also somehow got 1/2 of someone's drink down the front of my shirt. You would think that a combination of that would make a bad night but the band was seriously THAT good. I miss all of you so much! It's not to same to go out with other people.

P.S. Recent posting on my wall: "Hey stranger, how are things?" And it was from Rambo. Hopefully he is not trying to plan another party for two.
