Old Fandoms Rediscovered
Lately, I've been rediscovering older shows that I used to love, especially The X-Files and Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Except for Star Trek (which is part of my blood), these two shows probably constitute my first fandoms. They introduced me to fanfic. It's a lot of fun to come back to them after so many years. I'm doing an X-Files rewatch right now and having a blast. I haven't seen most of these episodes since they originally aired, when I was in middle school.
I wanted to take a peak at the fandoms, just check in and see what the 'shippers and FoLCs are up to these days. Of course, I find that many of the old sites are closed down. I know the fans are out there somewhere. I initially had the same frustration when I searched out the Buffy fandom a few years ago, until I discovered LJ.
My flist is very Buffy-heavy with a dash of BSG, but surely some of you are also fans of these shows. Can anyone point me to good X-Files or Lois and Clark sites? Active LJ communities?
