Nanowrimo, new website and other things.

Busy, busy, busy!

So day three of nanowrimo... it's not going badly, I'm keeping up to date with my word count, I'm aiming for 75,000 this year, last year I did 90k, but I struggled with fitting everything else in around it. But now I really miss writing 3000 words a day, I expect this will change in the dreaded week three when everything's not so shiney and new and I have no idea what my characters are up to. I think I need to sit down and interview some of my characters, I don't think I know enough about them, which makes it harder to know what motivates them - friendship seems to be the biggest theme so far, which isn't a bad thing : )

So on to other stuff, I've been trying to come up with some christmas gift ideas to put on my website - I've started with a snowflake theme, winter wonderland, and thought I'd make some stationary stuff, pancil cases, notebooks in different sizes. But really I'm looking around for more ideas of what people would like for christmas as hand made gifts.Anyway, here's a quick snap of a notebook I made this afternoon:

I also finished a lens on squidoo for my website - melted_rachel  encouraged me to join squidoo, so far I have two lenses, to her 200+ lol, one is on natural remedies and the other is on my website, please take a look, and also at the new website, it took me ages to learn html code and work out how to do it all (with lessons from my partner)

The lens are my first, so not that pro, please judge kindly : ) I'm planning on doing one on edible wild plants and herbs next, that's if I don't get completely submerged in nanowrimo and forget to do anything else ; )
