We finally got our orders... and WE'RE GOING TO CLEARWATER, FL!!!!! YESSSS!!!
Jeff made that our 4th pick, but in reality it was the one we wanted most. I told Jeff that choosing our list of the next stations we wanted would be up to him, and he picked Massachusetts for our first 2 thinking that's what I wanted. Cape Cod does look beautiful, but I'm not digging the idea of snowy season with babies (yes, we plan on having another soon!).
We're both SO in shock that we got it!!!! Clearwater is absolutely GORGEOUS, and rent prices are SO CHEAP. It's a great place, great neighborhoods, and my extended family is only 30 minutes away. Yay, babysitters!!!!! Haha.
I CAN'T WAIT!!!! We move in May. I am NOT Looking forward to making that 5 day drive again, AH! This time with a baby, a 75 lb lab (we got a dog!! I should update about that...) and our kitty cat... what a zoo! It'll probably take at least 7 days this time. Maybe we'll just fly and get the pets and car shipped.. ahh, IDK.
So, I'm trying to think of all the things I want in our next place since we don't plan to live in housing this time.
* 3+/2+
* Fenced backyard
* Garage
* Big bathtub (not absolutely necessary, but there must at least be a tub)
* Back porch, preferably screened in. Would love a pool, but not the responsibility.
* Wooden floors, tiled kitchen/bathrooms, and carpeted bedrooms
* QUIET road
* Laundry room (w/d should NOT be stuffed in closets!)
* Large kitchen layout
* Would love a split floorplan
* Plenty of closet space (thanks summer_mommy!)
Hmmm.. I kind of though I had more in mind. Any suggestions?
