So many chaotic stories to tell, & so little time.
Well after having one of the worst evenings of my life on Monday, and aching all day Tuesday from all that crying, we today finally figured out a solution to the wedding license problem (the process to find and execute the solution was pretty sucktastic, but at least the problem is solved, we have a license ordered, and we won't have to have a fake ceremony on Saturday).
An old friend made our wedding slideshow (baby pics, etc), which we test-viewed tonight, and it is fantastic-- I never dreamed it would turn out so great! It certainly wouldn't have, had I done it myself as originally planned.
Still half a million things to take care of tomorrow and Friday (including need to buy shoes and slip-slash-pseudo-girdle for myself) but there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel.
Never, EVER am I planing a big event, ever again, unless I have the budget to pay someone to take care of all the little details so I wouldn't have to do DIY stuff and errands and all this multitude of maddening projects. This was a crazy-ass experience-- the stress was literally, actually painful.
