Whoa!
Well as usual on
Sunday nights we have c-groups which I am so grateful for because it
helps me and it has helped me through a lot.... Last night the chapter
that we talked about was called "A half poison pill won't kill you." I
thought it was a great illistration for what we talked about. What we
talked about was the things watch are a poison to our minds because the
things that we watch are telling us about things like what a marriage
and other desires are supposed to be like and there are many other
things like that. I know this is a touchy subject because we all say
that we're not addicted to the computer, tv and etc... It shows
so much of our sin when we don't admit those things about ourselves. In
the book that we're doing we all do what it says, "The media contains a
certain amount of sinful content that is dangerous. But instead of
seeing how much I can handle.
I'm like a person who figures out he can take half a poison pill
everyday without killing himself. The point Im saying that what I
thought was convicting that is we watch to much of tv or movies that
have sexual content and we don't think about how much it should bother
us to see those things. Even if you were and are a married person it
still should affect you. Well those are my thoughts for tonight adios!
