Why lnhammer is cool
I don’t see how a man who wrote an epic poem about Myrmidons and a YA romantic comedy about teen lesbians can think he’s not cool. The coolness speaks for itself.
As you might guess from that, Larry is erudite and has wide-ranging interests. You can talk poetry with him, you can talk science, you can talk favorite children’s books. I think we could talk for a long long time and never get bored.
Another thing I like about Larry is a quality he shares with janni: common sense. Which, when you think about it, is a sadly uncommon virtue. I see Larry and Janni as twin bulwarks of sanity and kindness, standing steadfast against the current onslaught of ignorance and selfishness, backlit by the cold white light of Iceland or the hot white light of a Tucson summer.
