Also, do I not have very many Bleach fans reading my LJ, or do many of them hate Rukia/Renji, or what? I expected much more excitement over that post! Excitement to match my own at the thought of its existence

Rukia/Renji is exciting news, but perhaps everyone's just puzzled that telophase passed up the chance to have a poll asking what it should be. Was Sanzo/Mello too obvious a choice? Real People Slash is Just Wrong, so it wouldn't even be reasonable to suggest including Harlan E / Mortally Offended Saiyuki Voice Actor Greg Ayres on the poll, even in the interests of exploring whether there is a state beyond mortally offended.

Did you make it to the Broadway mall across the street from the north exit of Nakano station? It was mostly collectible stores but there were doujinshi there too.

Pleasing finds elsewhere: Bleach Official Bootleg (worth it for the Yachiro-eye view alone), Fruits Basket 18-23 (not out in the US yet) along with 2 unnumbered volumes of additional Furuba, xxxHolic 10 and 11 and character guide (even if 10 is allegedly out September 25), and Yokohama Kidashi Kikou (Record of a Yokohama Shopping Trip).
None of those match the glory of Telophase's Immaculate Saiyuki Victory, of course. What could?

That's mostly 'cos I basically made big puppy eyes at them and talked about what a glorious pairing Rukia/Renji is and how I've always wanted fic for it that would utilise every slash cliche ever and O, if only I happened to know a writer and/or manga artist who was into Bleach and liked slash and knew what I was talking about when I said Rukia/Renji had a totally slashy dynamic -- oh, do you mean that? Really? A doujin? Oh well, if you think you'll have the time ... (DO IT DO IT DO IT)
