The Aquarius drink is almost the exact same, but yes, Pocari sweat was always the more readily available.
I had forgotten the English on the label. ...Ohoho...

This is random, but have you ever eaten a curry pastry like they have? The deep-fried filled-donut type of things? They are nasty cold, but as random!Japanese as anything to be met with.

It was so hot in the week or two before Worldcon that mdevnich, who lives in Okinawa, said it was really hot.

I adopted the sun-umbrella on our first day and the face-cloth on the second and still courted heatstroke some days.
