In which "Hamilton" continues to save my sanity

If it wasn't for Hamilton, I would never have read Aaron Burr's journal. It continues to charm and delight; I will post more excerpts later. Like the entire last week and, for that matter, last eight months, today has been almost entirely taken up with medical stuff. I love that you're sharing. I also spent half of a client session discussing Hamilton with said client, who it is also saving :)

My own therapist has been hearing quite a lot about Hamilton - I wonder if this is happening to therapists nationwide? Someone will probably write a paper eventually.

Why resist? You could ask your client's permission. Do not throw away your shot!

I'd give you permission to use my experiences as a client too. They'd be second-hand, but I have a good memory and I assume my therapist has notes.

Mostly because I am so completely over committed at this point. My brain is barely managing to find time for the writing and research it gets paid to do. That said, I might stick this on the back burner and see how I feel once I'm no longer teaching for the semester.

There was an amazing article in the Wall Street Journal yesterday, about how not having seen Hamilton is making politicans nervous that they're being left out of discussions:
