Lying in church
Today was pretty cool. I went to church and as I was talking to an acquaintance named Scott in the hall, my awesomely hilarious friend Ben busted in and introduced himself as my fiance. I kept a straight face while Scott congratulated us, and asked Ben what he did for a living. "Nothing, I'm 17."
"Yes, but it's ok, I can support us," I lied. We embellished our story for a few minutes, but Scott split for class before I could tell him that we made it all up. And so a rumor is born... it will take me weeks to undo the damage. Aw hell, I don't care. Rumors are fun.
After church, Ben and his sister came over and we played Nintendo games. Ben beat Super Mario Bros in one life!! It was amazing!!
I spent the rest of my evening working on my book, I've got about 5 chapters worth of material outlined. All in all, a pretty productive day...
