(no subject)
Just got back from a weekend retreat that sort of snuck up on me. We went to South Carolina, to a beach near Charleston. I hadn't shaved and also didn't feel like freezing to death, so I didn't do any more than wade. But it was fun. Now I'm back, I've got lots of stuff to do tonight but hopefully it's manageable, if I can keep focused (ha!).
Dad says the basement is all done, so now they just need to move everything back into it :P And Mom is planning to get rid of the old couch and get a new one, so that should be fun. I like new furniture. I'm looking forward to getting back home for the summer though it'll mean I need to face trying to find a job again. Maybe this year I actually will.
I'm going to try to take a week off from the internet, all but the most vital things like email. Actually, just email, I can't think of anything else that's really necessary. It seems like a good lead-up to Easter, and since things in school are getting ever more hectic it sure won't hurt to get rid of some distractions.
