Today was Grandparents' Day or something like that at the Zoo, and all grandparents and their grandkids got in free. My Grandma Joyce suggested that mom and Sarah and I go along with her, so we did. Well, you know what it's like when senior citizens hear the word "free"...they go fcking nuts. I've never seen the Zoo so busy in my whole life. It was almost claustrophobic...imagine being at the Zoo under the following conditions: a billion old people, a billion little kids, a billion degrees, and a billion weird Zoo smells. After about an hour I wanted out. Sarah didn't even seem to enjoy herself (I think she was overwhelmed by all of the people). I ran into Aly (Aaron's sis, for those who don't know her) and gosh I miss her.....what a sweetheart.
Bottom line: don't go to the Zoo when it's 90 degrees outside and oversaturated with the very old and very young.
After the inferno of the Zoo, mom and Sarah and I ran some errands. We went to Bed Bath and Beyond because I needed a hamper and a drying rack and a new one of those egg-carton pads for my bed at school (the old one was accidentally torn during NELS!!!!!!!'s frustration in packing the car when I moved outta school). Those three stupid things cost like $68.00 even after the 20% off coupons and the $5 off coupon. I was like...damn. I need a printer for this year and I had seen one at Best Buy that I liked, but the guy who waited on me was like "We don't have any, we can't order it, and I can't sell you the floor model," so I was like screw you I'll buy it somewhere else. I picked it up at Target today and it was like $20 less there anyway so...I got my printer.
Our tuition bills came today and my dad almost died. It's unbelievable how much they screw you for little crap like transportation fees and activity fees and computer lab fees and a ridiculously expensive meal plan. Go Pitt.
Work tomorrow 6-10 at Express...I'm gonna wear my new black peasant skirt.....YESSSS!!!!! And I better sell some jeans dammit!!! =D =D =D =D =D =D
Hey Britt...I'm glad you're staying a little longer in Erie!
