(no subject)
My apologies for so neglecting this journal, but Doc and I have been involved in explorations of the inner mind which have left us little time for other things. Except for my filming, of course. I am still working on The Constant Gardener with Ralph Fiennes. What an interesting, albeit odd man he is. He and Doc get along fabulously, of course.
Doc and I went to see Sir Simon Rattle conduct Beethoven's 9th symphony at Albert Hall recently. Sir Simon was accompanied by the City of Birmingham Symphony Chorus. They were awesome! I found myself clutching Doc's hand during the Ode to Joy, tears springing to my eyes.
After the performance, I managed to pull some strings, and we were able to get backstage, where we met a number of the musicians, and shook the hand of Sir Simon himself! I'll never wash this hand again!
At some point we will be heading off to Australia when The Fountain begins shooting. I think Doc has something in mind for us when we go. Perhaps some kind of walkabout.
I just love that man so much!
