Damn you Evelyn Waugh!
I've just finished reading Brideshead Revisited. It reads like a combination of Dorian Gray, Withnail and I and The End of the Affair.
The first half of the novel made me want to sit around and drink all day, and the second half made me want to become a Catholic again. I can do neither of these things dammit - the former due to lack of time and the latter due to lack of belief!
