If you are a friend of Tim's, tell me what you think about this.
In my personal opinion, his service was not nearly personal enough. To me, it was more about Jesus and the church wanting his friends and family to be "saved" rather than celebrating Tim himself.
I would like to organize a gathering and have a different kind of memorial service for his close friends, where we could talk about Weasel, and not Jesus. Now I know that he had a relationship with God, and that's just fine, but I think we should have a more personal get-together - with food and music, maybe - and gather at the park or something so we can all remember Tim for who he really was.
