Haha!
I guess when it gets into the almost 30s it gets a little hard to count! But I still can't believe my luck! :-D I love you Chris! :-D :-D :-D
Student teaching update! Alright-- after some initial apprehension and soul-searching, I have finally started to enjoy student teaching. This whole week has been pretty good! I've gotten some good comments from my teacher too! He writes a little every day and gives it to me as tips and such for future lessons. On Wed he wrote.. "You are doing so well, I'm kind of blown away. You could go out and teach very competently right now. I already feel like all I am doing at this laptop is offering suggestions to fine-tune what you are doing here--there are NO glaring flaws whatsoever." (YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!) I've also had a random teacher come up to me and say "I hear you're doing a great job for Davis!" Aaaaand one of the other student teachers said he overheard Davis tell another teacher that I was good @ establishing rapport with the students. ::dances around the room::
Anyway-- sorry about all of that-- but I have to write it down for that day in two weeks or so that I have a horrible, no good, very bad day! ;)
The only down side is that apparently I get really really really nervous before I teach. I was never aware of this before! I get a little nervous before speaking in front of groups-- but nothing too major. Anyway-- noooow I wake up and feel like crap. I throw up three times, go to school, and then once I start teaching my first class-- I feel great for the rest of the day. SO weird. I hope it goes away. It is so crappy. I've lost 5 pounds this week. Which could be an upside-- but I don't like feeling sick and not being able to eat until after 2nd period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway-- I love you all and I'll try and write again soon!
