August Reading Summary

August wasn't a very productive month for me. At all. For starters I was still recovering from having sinus surgery and although you'd think that would give me more reading time, it certainly wasn't pleasant trying to read while my nose was alternating between bleeding and dripping bright yellow mucus. Bleurgh. Yes, my main memory of The Moonstone would be taking 2 and a half weeks to read it, starting from when I went into hospital at the end of July. Though it was a very interesting book, I will admit.
I enjoyed most of the books I read this month - my favourite being The Help, and I can't wait to see the film :)
Almost Transparent Blue was my least favourite though. I just didn't like characters at all, and there was too much drug-taking going on.
I think 6 books was a good haul though.
88 books this year I believe. So close to my 100 book target :)
