I'm so glad that the LAN party is over and I get my house and my boyfriend back. There are still some people hanging around, but cleaning has started to happen (including me washing up nearly every blooming plate and piece of cutlery in the house, because apparently when there are games to be played people don't wash up...). It's been a really dull weekend for me, but Phil and I are going to go somewhere (anywhere) together tomorrow and have some us time.
I was particularly grumpy with the boys when they kept me up all night on Friday and Saturday, but realised last night when, despite really wanting to go to sleep, my brain was ON FIRE, that the pills I'm taking for the cough probably aren't helping. Sleep disturbance is one of the most likely side effects... so I'm feeling a little more kindly about the whole thing now as it wasn't entirely their fault.
My little brother is coming to stay for a couple of days on Wednesday. That should be fun!
