Weeeeeeeeeeee! I had so much fun it was unreal! We got to MacDill--the AFB--where we were leaving from and got on the bus. Well I must say the bus driver was way cute--so total eyecandy for the hour and forty-five it took to get there. Once we got there, my brother decided he would hang with the Lavelles cuz they had all the teens. So my sister and I were like okay--party of two. Which whatever--we would of had fun with just the two of us and it wasn't like I was going to go with the Chaplains and their families--way too many kids under 10! So we get off the Ferry Boat to Disney and we were all like "sheesh everyone split." The bus driver was the only person left that we recognized, and seeing as how he knew not anyone I was all like you can hang with us! Well of course he said yes--because I am irresistably charming--and yes I know I have a boyfriend but a girl can still hang with a cute guy, sides he had a girlfriend named Amanda. At anyrate so he agreed and we hung out the whole night. The funny thing is that at first he thought my sister and I were only like 16 and we thought he was like 28. Turns out we both guessed wrongly. I won't divulge age information, but we were all roughly the same age bracket. But it was funny cuz he was like--I guess I'll hang out with kids, and we were like uh--not kids. But anyways rides--we went on Buzz Lightyear where I beat Tucky--the bus driver--and my sister. Buzz is a shooting game and I'm all like dude--I beat the airman! Then we went to the Haunted Mansion--which I really didn't like because I don't like the dark too much. We next went to It's a Small World--only my favourite ride ever. We then bought drinks, because even though it was pushing seven, it is Florida and was still unbearable hot. We then went to see the Philharmagic and I could smell the cinnamon this time. Last time I was all congested. Let's see, we flew in Aladdin's carpet, we did the Pirates of the Carribean and I am still upset Johnny didn't show up. We also stopped in the gift shop where Tucky and I had a sword fight. I then decided I would have the upper hand if I used two swords, so suave as I am I reached into the sword bin to pull at another weapon. Whipping it out--apparently it was still sheathed and the sheath went arching backwards right at these two girls who were also sword fighting. Tucky and my sister started laughing hysterical and told them it was my fault. Harumph! Finally we rode Thunder Mountain, and the energy from all the youth groups at the park was unreal. Them kids were fired up for Jesus! We also got to see Toby Mac, Kutless and Donnie Macklurkin. Donnie totally rawked the park though because he sang the Mickey Mouse Club song but then was like let's put a little twist on it. It went....
Who's the Saviour of the world, who died for you and me.
J-e-s/ u-s-C/ h-r-i-s-t!
Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ!
Forever let us hold His banner high!
Christian..come along and sing His song and join the jubilee!
J-e-s/ u-s-C/ h-r-i-s-t!
And of course the crowd went wild! It was fantabulous--which I was informed not to use that word for the remainder of the evening--but it truly was. Finally, since we had to be back at the bus by 1130, we did some quick shopping where I tried on some hats while my sister bought something for a friend. The highlight of that excursion was that I was told I look good in hats by Tucky--the cute bus driver. I was all gee thanks! We made a bet on the way out that he would sing Kumbayah on the bus--but he whimped. I should of made him give me five dollars if he whimped but I didn't think about that. At anyrate we had a blast and a half! Hopefully next year the church will go again--and maybe we can hang with another cute bus driver! Tucky is leaving back to Arkansas at the end of next month--sadness--so it can't be him. Hehe!
