Anticipation (for me, anyway) so often laps reality. I just got off the phone with a creditor to whom my payment is going to be late. I have been dreading this call for the last hour and girding myself up to dial the number. He was pleasant (I was expecting doom and gloom and nasty threats) and just wanted to know when he could expect payment. Ugh. Whew.
