Time
The last week or so has gone by in a blur. Time doesnt seem to count for much now. Sooner than possible i will be on a plane halfway to Paris. Moments frozen in time. It would be something to be able to navigate through your memories in any order, where older memories do not fade and are all crystal clear. When did i grow older?
I began reading The Poisonwood Bible for AP english and i love it. I almost stopped reading it in order to read The Crystal Cave which is a King Arthur/Merlin book. I was inspired by the movie King Arthur. I have spent the majority of the last week in warren either at my dad's or with Meghan, accidentally spending the night down there and not needing to come home. I spent the week remembering what it was like all those summers before i moved out here. When i was never home and always spending time with the people in my life that matter the most. Meghan has been one of those important people for what seems like forever. The moment that sticks out the most in my memory of this past week is riding up and down Meghans street, both on the back of her brothers Moped. Laughing at anything and everything, including the little horn on the Moped.
Our neighbor across the creek's tree fell down onto our shed and raspberry bushes and took out our power, phone, and cable. All of which were restored in that order over the course of 4 days.
I got to spend the night at Becky's new apartment a couple times too and its a nice place. We rented Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas the other day and that is a fucked up hilarious movie, owing in no small part to Johnny Depp being superb. "We can't stop here, this is bat country..."
