Too Darn Easy Chocolate Chip Cookies.

I was laying about today and had a sudden urge for cookies. Nothing fancy, any old cookie would do. I thought to myself, "there's flour in the cabinet, chocolate in the pantry, and brown sugar I need to use up." Let's make this happen. I threw a bunch of ingredients in the food processor, baked 'em up, and now have two baking sheets covered in delicious cookies. I am debating on sending an open invitation to all my friends to come and get these cookies away from me. Or I will inevitably eat them all.

Recipe!

Ingredients-

2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon salt (not necessary but I personally like a little salt to offset the sweet)
3/4 cup sugar. I used brown sugar, but I'm sure any type of sugar would work well.
2 teaspoons baking powder
spices to taste. Allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, whatever you feel would be tasty.
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup melted butter. Oil would probably work just as well if your stick of butter goes missing.
1/2 cup of milk. You could use water but that wouldn't be as yummy.
chocolate chips. How much? As much as you want? I used a dark chocolate hollow Santa and a handful of white chocolate. I really wanted to add chunky peanut butter but I didn't have any on hand.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Take all your ingredients and put them into your food processor. Turn on your food processor. Don't churn everything into oblivion, just until everything is mixed together. If it's crumbly, add a little more water or milk. Spoon out the cookie dough onto an ungreased baking sheet. Put the baking sheet in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes. The cookies will be very soft when they come out but they should stiffen a little as they cool down. Then put them in your mouth or give to your friends.
