Needles Are Sharp.
This is the slow period of the year at work. During the fall and winter, there is a constant crush of orders because of the holidays. Right now, nothing special. To be honest, I don't mind the slower pace. But it makes the owners concerned. They have been asking around if anyone would like an extra day off. Of course, no one wants to see their paychecks decrease. I might take the owners aside and offer my schedule up for the cut. One of the days I am scheduled to work falls on the slowest day of the week, and with the number of coworkers that are also there that day, I have taken to leaving early because there just isn't anything for me to do.
There is plenty for me to do at the condo. The home improvement store has been out of stock of the base paint I need to finish the bedroom, but once I have that, I can proceed with the plan. I really hope they have it available soon because I do not want to wait until it's blazing hot out. I need to keep the windows open when I paint for ventilation. Anyway, after the bedroom, there's the bathroom. Then the office. And then.. well, that depends entirely on Tom. He's the interior designer. I just do the labor.
The plants are looking delicious. Tiny green tomatoes are hanging off the branches, the jalapeno plant is torturing me with it's tiny peppers, and the mint is a monster. My first successful garden! I need to constantly water them, but I enjoy it.
I have been doing painting of my own. Two paintings are currently available for purchase. It would be awesome if someone took an interest in them. The money would be nice, but more than anything else, I would feel like my creative ambitions were valid. Does that make sense? It's been a long day.
I'm going to check out a local thrift store on Tuesday. It seems like I have an eye for clothing, so I want to see if I can find items and then turn around to sell them for a profit online and elsewhere. Or find clothes to sew and alter into awesomeness. Wouldn't that be great if this fanciful idea worked out? I'm hoping. It would be quite nice.
