Today, I got a package from a letterer friend that included a couple copies of the last issue of Y: The Last Man. And while I'd already seen an uncolored proof, it was still a hell of a thrill to see my lettering (or title design, if you're being picky) on the last page of one of my favorite series.

( Not exactly a spoiler, but I'm putting it behind a cut for those of you who want to read it in sequence. )

After months of procrastination, my Etsy shop, Whimsy & Brimstone, is up and running! It's not very impressive yet, but I'll be posting much, much more in the next few days, including some of the Girls Read Comics / My Heroes Are Girls pendants that made their debut in the Girl-Wonder.org benefit auction!

Wasn't allowed to say anything 'til it was out, but I TOTALLY FREAKIN' LETTERED THE LAST WORD OF Y: THE LAST MAN! Not credited, but still feels pretty damn special - Clem Robins is an awesome guy and a super letterer, and it was tremendously cool to get to help him with this.
