One of the things I like about etsy is that I fairly regularly find things that absolutely take my breath away. I first encountered Stosh in a chatroom, and I'm still in awe of hir exquisite beads. I am not ordinarily much of a fan of lampwork, but oh, god, these just take my breath away and make me wish I were in a position to spend $45 (or, hell, $150) on a bead, because I think creating a setting for one of these would be one of the most marvelously challenging projects.
And while I will not get to keep it, the incredible part of this story is that sie is sending me a bead with which to do just that. The final product will likely end up in one of our respective shops, so if you like my metalwork and hir glassblowing, keep an eye out...
