The Lord woke me up this morning at5:30. Needless to say, I was VERY reluctant to His call. I got up, got dressed and went to my car. My windows were frozen, so I spent at least 10 minutes scraping the ice off of my car. I got in and warmed it up for about another 10 minutes, all while listening to Michael W. Smith "Worship Again." I started driving towards Toadsuck Park, got gas, and headed towards the lake. I parked my car facing the lake and the trees. I got to watch the sunrise. Birds were flying and the morning fog was rising off of the lake. After about half an hour, I went to the little pond area I found on my drive the other day. I drove around back to the more secluded part and parked my car just in time to see a cute little brown bunny hop across the grassy path. It's little white tale was the last I saw of it. I sat with the sun shining on the pond for a while. The morning fog was stirring on the pond so beautifully. The frost on the grass reflected the sun and bounced its rays onto my face. After a while I started my car and went back to campus.
Thank you Lord for waking me up this morning to see Your glory in the sunrise, the birds, the fog, the bunny rabbit, and the frost. You are so awesome!
