Sandy Skoglund
Sandy Skoglund is a photographer. She was born in 1946. Her birthplace is in Quincy, Massachusetts. When she was 22 years old she got her first degree in art, it was the BA degree. Then at 25 she went and got her MA degree. Only a year later she got her MFA degree. Sandy Skoglund now teaches the art of photography at a University. Her styles are: constructed photography or the photography of invention. In 1972 she was known as a conceptual artist, photographing repetitive, process oriented art. Her photographs lead me to believe that she has a lot of imagination. Her mind has no limits. Sandy Skoglund has painted, setup, and photographed a lot of rooms. Her people are both real and people made of materials. In one photograph she did a room made of stuff like cheetos and there were some people made of cheetos and other real people dressed up in cheetos. She probably has influenced modern photographers, I haven’t really seen any proof but it must have happened. Her photographs aren’t pictures of something painted, they are actual room, the ones I evaluated were not 2 dimensional, they ad movement, value and contrast.
