chivalry.
so, chivalry. it's one of the most romantic things a guy can do and it's very easy. why do you think girls like watching 'chick flicks'? things like opening doors, helping somebody out of the car, standing when a girl walks in the room or stands up from the table, walking her to the door, etc, etc. these guys in the movies aren't realistic. chivalry is dying. i mean, i'm definitely not one of those girls who can't open a door by myself, but still. i'm actually surprised when a guy does it. i was walking out of a building the other day as a guy was walking in. he got to the door way before i did and stood there with the door open until i got there. that's just not something you see everyday. he took like 20 seconds out of his day and it made him stand out from most of the guys i come in contact with. i can definitely say that one of the most impressive things a guy can do is throw a little chivalry in every now and then. sometimes is seems like it's completely dead, but there are a few guys out there fighting to keep it alive. i don't know, i just thought it was worth mentioning. it's just...nice. so, yay for whoever that guy was that opened the door, and i say guys should bring it back.
