Update
Well what to update?? What to update?? Well I am furiously packing in prep for my mama's coming next Monday b/c she will want to pack-pack-pack and I want to make sure I have most of everything in line for her. I am however leaving everything to tall for me to reach or in the kitchen. Yesterday and today was been good for giving. I donated about 20 books today to my fav library- some really good ones I just don't need anymore.. A couple of guidebooks for some future travelers to experience! Tomorrow, I am going to go recycle some old computer parts I can no longer use and going to donate a tea set to a local womyn's shelter. I am debating abt the latter though. But it just doesn't seem like the right time to be shlepping a box of good tea cups b/c I am sure my relaxing tea moments aren't ahead of me for a bit.. and besides I am not trying to take more things- only less things!
I have begun to collect little boy clothing, b/c g-d willing I will be able to use those in abt 4 months :) (23 weeks today!), so having those clothes plus someone gave me an infant car seat and a variety of other smaller things, makes me glad that I cleared out some space. The only thing I am collecting at this point is children's items.. I bought 2 cute books today at the Lincoln Memorial- 1 was a "Good night, Washington, DC" book and the other book was a pictorial of Lincoln's life with a basic storyline.. But there is a page of him being shot.. So we will have to see when/if we will use that book, but I can't deny history- you know? I can only semi-regulate what my child (g-d willing) reads/witnesses.
Hmm, so I think thats it. I Just need some boxes and start a'packin! Once I get to that point I can also pack up some final suitcases, b/c we hired movers for this move and there is a chance I won't get my stuff for 2 weeks b/c they need to fill up the truck before they can take the trip down here.. My sister is gonna lend me her laptop so we can pack up my computer so that will be less to shlep in the car! So tis it! Most likely next time I update it will be from Hot-lanta!!
