...so there's a korean reporter and a chinese american reporter "captured" by the north korea government. (and no, don't quote me on that. that's just what I translated from the korean news.
and there's the yemin(sp?) bombing and capturing and killing and whatever.
and lastly, it looks like the media are finally investigating as to why women actors in korea are just killing themselves left and right. (this final point, you think i'm sarcastic... ummm, no.)
it's just that the second topic has been on the news the whole week. NOTHING CHANGED. the last topic, well, i think it's almost ridiculous. essentially, these women are killing themselves because they were exploited. but the latest suicide idiot was cause she was used, like a whore. and she left letters and notes of what was happening to her... (does it not sound like a b rate porn star or a b rate actress from the 50s or 60s?) so now the police have actual evidence and are going crazy over all the guys they have to arrest.
the actress that suicided last year did it because a lot of internet sites were saying how shitty she was... yeah, i'm dead serious. maybe it's because of the places that i might visit, and the fact that all the moderators lay down strict rules about this type of thing, that i really don't see it. (...this is why nakama and dattebayo seem so bitchy and asshole-ish.) but apparently in korea, its a free for all. they don't care what's said as long as they get hits or whatever. so the lady couldn't take the fact that people were saying crap about her and committed suicide. i'm sure there were other stuff as well, like being a whore for her manager or company or something else that exploited her.
it's just a constant stream of actresses that commit suicide. i don't recall a US actress that had done the same thing. if they've died it was either to age, sickness, accident, or drugs and alcohol. not really from suicide. (and if there was, someone please tell me... cause it's 530 in the morning and i have no memory)
and i know you don't really want to hear about suicide, but its been on my nerves this whole week. yes, we know she wrote different letters and notes, like a diary, about her adventures of being a stripper and a whore. and so it's like every day they show a different entry on the news and the police making speeches of their continuance of the investigation. and "talking" of the suspects that are in jail. BUT NOTHING HAS CHANGED FROM THE DAY BEFORE. it's like the search for bin laden. all this talk, but where is he? oh! new information, but it really doesn't pertain to him.
and no, i can't be sympathetic to the suicide, because she had all the freakin EVIDENCE!
so all those people who say korean actresses are so pretty and beautiful and blah blah blah... HAH! THEY HOES.
