at work... opps!
so, i had 45 lj things that were in my mailbox since last week to look at. took me the last hour to finish going through all the ljs that were updated through the weekend. now i have absolutely nothing to do since... all my bosses are a meeting.
i can't even work on the one thing that i normally work on monday morning since,... one of my bosses are in the meeting. so i'm just sitting here staring at a muffin on my desk.
it really is sad that i'm so completely bored outta my mind.
it makes me think that i should start reading fics while i'm at work. SINCE I HAVE NOTHING TO DO.
honestly, when i first got this job, i was a bit intimidated because a lot of people had really high expectations for me. but since my position is "technically" a made up position, no one has really any idea of what tasks i should be given. and when i ask, they can't give me anything, because they're doing their work, not work that can also be done by anyone else.
okay, i know i have it great. because i've got great bosses. they're strict when it comes to their work, but they're really nice. and that i actually do have time at work to just sit here and do NOTHING. i shouldn't be complaining, but i'm hoping that cause i am, i'll be given more work to do. kinda like karma. but since i think my intentions are a bit opposite, it really isn't going to happen. and it sucks even more because all of my bosses are busy, but i'm not.
at least at BN i always had something to do. that reminds me. someone needs to explain to me why half of my workbooks are missing. what happened to my reading section? and who in the hell keeps putting the hooked on phonics section there?
and holy crap. i just read the game story for WEWY. geez, square enix is just great in creating so much angst and emo-ness in their storylines.
and that concept is rampant across japan. taking people (kidnapping), or killing people and reviving them, for the sake of defeating the "game". there's the .hack series. and i don't remember what the manga (or series for that matter) was called, but i know dp has done scanlations for it. i just remember people had to fight to get the dog tags from their opponent. and if they don't they're killed. but if they are able to defeat whomever gets in their way, the corporation that is hosting this "game" awards them. i just remember that the main character was hot, and that there were drugs involved? and one of the thugs that work for the leader/boss, he's actually not a thug, but more like a dog. he doesn't use his eyes, but his sense of smell, and his eyes are blindfolded. i know most people will know what i'm talking about.
oh, and WEWY. i know there's more out there.
