My Daddy is sick. Not like flu sick. Liver disease sick. He has been in and out of the hospital for several months now, and each time it seems likes things get worse and worse. Today I found out that without a liver transplant, he has less than a year to live. This for a man who has never had a drop of alcohol in his life. With the average wait

Why didn't you tell me sooner that he was sick?! I'm so sorry, My. A lot can happen in a year though, so don't give up hope. And people outlive their doctors expectations all the time!

Thanks peanut. I haven't really talked about it with anyone except David. And I think it was easier to just pretend it wasn't happening. The good news is, since he is so sick, he's very high on the transplant list. He is fighting a blood infection now, but once he gets through that, he'll be top on the list. He's at the Charlottesville, VA hospital now instead at the crack smoking CAMC, so that helps too. I'll keep you posted!

Suprisingly well. You know her. She's aways optimistic even when things get rough. I don't know how she does it! I'd be a basketcase!

What are you guys up to this weekend?

I think we're staying in St. Augustine. I have to work tomorrow night. But I'll be in Orlando next weekend.

Do you guys have any plans for the weekend?

Nope. I'm off tomorrow but David doesn't have any days off right now. :o( I think I'm gonna go shopping!

Shopping!! EEE! I feel like I haven't done that in forever! Poor lil' Dave! He NEVER has any days off?

No days off at all for lil' Dave. One of the trainers at his show left for Ringling so they are all working every day for a little over a month. Bluh.

You and David have to come out to Joel's soon!

My days off are really random right now. I think I'm off on Thursday and Friday the next two weeks. It changes a lot.

David is the manager of "Critter Castaways" at Busch Gardens. It's really good. Dogs, cats, and some exotics. You guys should go see him too! We could probably get you some tickets.
