I HATE MACCAS
Well im about to head back to the rat for a few days...
just woke up after a crappy night at the ponds... waste of money for a terrible night but oh well!
Lots of dramas at mickey dees... im thinking that im quiting there...
i rang up and told them i couldnt work last night 9-12, giving them 5 hours notice which is more than enough... they made me 'it was my responsibility' call like 15 people to try and swap the shift (thats SO their job) and when i couldnt find anyone they basically were real rude and said it wasnt their job to do, it was mine. I was meant to be doing hw but instead i was calling them.
so i did what any daddys girl would do and rang dad... he said that maybe i should tell them it isnt working out, coz uni comes first (typical dad thing to say!)
anyways, i rang work, said id tried heaps of ppl but no luck, but that i couldnt possibly work. Trins, the 2nd highest manager said that the owner and head manager knew about it and were pissed coz i should have given notice bla bla bla and then when i said 'i think we need to talk (tearily) because this isnt working' trins went on the backfoot, saying how she wasnt pissed just wished i hadve given more notice.
the thing that pisses me off is that if i hadve lied and said i was sick, there would have been no questions asked, but because it was uni, they expected me to work coz they were too lazy to find a replacement.
ive been getting messages from trins all morning... sucking up my arse 'if you need to chat im here, keep smiling... your in my top 3 best crew' such a crock

so im looking for another job, whippin up a resume over the easter break and as soon as i find another job im ditching maccas. itll be good to do something different and work somewhere more convienient.
Anyways, enough of a whinge, im about to have a shower and start packing ready to come home...
